There Is No Finish Line.

You can take that thought as a good thing or a bad thing, or both!

To think that the “race of life” never ends can be depressing. Especially since the road of life can often be tough, if not grueling. And we humans, we often want difficult things to end so the pain will stop.

On the other hand, when you consider that there are segments of the race where we may slow down, fall, throw up, or simply quit, it is an enormous ray of sunshine to know that there is no finish line. Which means we get to get up, get back on track, keep going, clean ourselves up and run.

The only finish line is death but until that inevitable day comes we always have the chance to keep moving forward and run our best race possible. This race of life is the only one that we have, the only one that matters. I don’t care about your pace or your place in the race. I care that you never stop.
